9.2. Protivobuksovochny system (ASR)

The electronic protivobuksovochny ASR system applies brakes partially the slipping wheels at start and redistributes torque on not slipping wheels.
Electronics controls loss of coupling of wheels with a roadbed and at once provides necessary pressure in the brake mechanism of this wheel. At the same time the system redistributes torque on the wheel which is in gearing with a roadbed, and in a limit case — even the unique wheel.
In general the autonomous ASR system involves many elements of the ABS system. The Protivobuksovochny system becomes more active at the time of a start of motion and is automatically switched off at a speed of 40 km/h. The particular advantage of system is that it does not influence negatively neither road performance, nor controllability in a start of motion.
